Penn A-1 / Penn A-4 creeping bentgrasses are proven stand outs on their own but when mixed together provide quick spring green-up, dark green color, fine leaf texture, exceptional disease resistance, and outstanding heat and cold tolerance.
Produced by Oregon’s top growers, Tee-2-Green bentgrasses far exceed the standards of general certified seed. Our seed is free of Poa-annua, Poa trivialis, and all other noxious and unacceptable weed seeds.

This legendary mixture of Penn A-1 and Penn A-4 combines the strengths of two of Tee-2-Green’s most proven bentgrass varieties to create a blend with broad genetic diversity that will produce the highest quality putting surface. Extremely durable and featuring a fine leaf texture and aggressive growth habit, Penn A-1/A-4 excels in a variety of climates and conditions. It prefers to be kept on the dry and lean side, thereby reducing management costs.
