Description
If you are looking for a canola variety with good yield performance at a lower price point, look at 6130 RR, which has a very good yield index at 118%. Relative to 997 RR and our previous 4000 series of hybrids which have indices of 111% to 114% compared to PH 46A65 and Q2 in the Co-op trial system. 6130 RR is a solid performer. In our 2009 BCT’s it performed well against the check DK 71-45 RR (94%) and 6040 RR (93%). Its early maturity makes 6130 RR suitable to grow in all zones. Overall, 6130 RR combines good genetics and heterosis to provide a distinct yield advantage over 997 and the 4000 series of products.
