AC Caribou Alfalfa
Caribou is best suited to pure stand alfalfa for hay or silage. It is very well suited to production regimes that require superior winterhardiness and superior yield and regrowth characteristics. Well suited to mixtures with adapted grasses such as meadow bromegrass, orchardgrass, and timothy.
2220 Blend
Alfalfa 2220 Blend is a blend of certified varieties specifically developed to combine the following strengths of our best varieties: high yields, superior winterhardiness, disease resistance, branch root characteristics, sunken crown characteristics, multifoliate characteristics and creeping root characteristics. HybriForce-400 Alfalfa
HybriForce-400 alfalfa is the first hybrid alfalfa available in Canada. It shows great seedling vigour for improved establishment, has excellent winterhardiness, and with a fall dormancy of four, it has a fast regrowth potential after every cut. HybriForce-400 also offers a great disease resistance package. The plants show an increase in leaf to stem ration which translates into excellent feed quality for cattle. Plants also show hybrid vigour early in the spring as plants green up earlier than conventional alfalfas, making for an earlier haying season.
Magnum 3801-Wet
Magnum 3801-Wet offers a solution to producers looking for an alfalfa variety that will perform on soils with a high water table or soils with a shallow hardpan. It also offers excellent yield potential with unsurpassed regrowth. With strong winterhardiness and a second to none disease package, this variety is a great fit for any field. Magnum 3801-Wet mixes will with timothy, orchardgrass, bromegrass, and other grasses to meet specific area needs.
Spyder Alfalfa
Spyder alfalfa exhibits strong dormancy, excellent winterhardiness, and disease resistance with a creeping rooted trait. It is a synthetic brand developed from a cross of a spreading-type alfalfa onto an Elite fall dormancy two standard variety. It also demonstrates an earlier maturity with slightly quicker regrowth.
Survivor Alfalfa
Survivor has a high yield potential. Its deep-set crown is helpful in providing additional protection insulating the crown in adverse winters.
