5525 CL - Yield and Profit Leading Variety
5525 CL has been a consistent leader in yield and profitability since its registration in 2009. It has confirmed its position as a yield leader year after year across Western Canada in commercial production, BASF Grow Forward Yield Challenges and in the 2011 Canola Performance Trials (CPT’s)(3).
Its plant structure is well branched and heavily-podded with excellent standability and rated R for Blackleg. With a slightly longer maturity, it is best suited to the mid to long season zones. 5535 CL is your best Clearfield choice in the short season zone.

5535 CL
5535 CL is a new addition to our Clearfield canola portfolio for 2011. We see the variety as an excellent complement to 5525 CL for growers looking for an earlier maturing CL variety. In the 2008 and 2009 Private and Public Co-op trials, its strength in the short season zone was evident with a yield of 148% of check, but it also showed good all zone performance with a yield of 135% in the 2009 Public Co-op trial.
