Blending and Packaging

If bagged seed by the pallet or by the truckload is what you need, then BrettYoung has the answer. Our state of the art filling and palletizing equipment will ensure that your order is filled on time and that the product you receive is of the highest quality. The semi-automatic bagging machine is fast and extremely accurate. One operator places a bag under the filling spout and the machine does the rest – weighs the seed, fills the bag, stretches the top to ready it for the sewing machine, then places tags on the bag while sewing it shut.

Once the bag is full, it is transported down the line to a fully automatic palletizer that stacks the bags in virtually any configuration at speeds up to 1000 bags per hour! If desired, the pallet is then wrapped automatically. The result is a square, easily stackable pallet that’s ready for shipment to your destination of choice.

We can also do custom blends to your specifications. Turf seed, native grasses, or special forage blends – we can accommodate them all. Multiple blending rooms mean your blend can be done accurately and quickly without fear of contamination.

As an integrated seed and treatment source, we can provide coated and ready-to-plant straights, blends or mixtures delivered to you or direct to your customer - - quicker, easier and more cost-effectively than if you coordinated processing and freight independently.
