What is BioBoost®?
BioBoost is a patented plant growth promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR), Delftia acidovorans, which was isolated from soils in western Canada. We have spent ten years working this microorganism understanding its effect on crops, testing application rates and formulating into an efficacious and convenient formulations. The microorganism has shown to be highly effective in stimulating root and overall plant growth helping the crop better withstand environmental stresses and ultimately resulting in more yield.
The microorganism, Delftia acidovorans, is effective on canola and soybean. It is available in a post-emergent spray for canola - BioBoost Foliar – and also a unique dual action growth promoter for soybean – BioBoost Plus – which also includes Bradyrhizobium for nitrogen fixation. Other PGPR microorganisms are being evaluated, tested and formulated for grain crops, such as corn.
