Biological products (BioBoost brand name)

BrettYoung is both excited and proud of is the development of BioBoost®, a plant growth promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR). PGPR is a bacteria from the root region (rhizosphere) which colonize plant roots and stimulate plant growth. BioBoost® is a unique innovative biological growth promoter for canola that enhances performance and production. BioBoost® is a naturally occurring and environmentally friendly inoculants. It produces better vigour and a healthier plant. When registered by CFIA the average yield increase was 8%.


This unique innovation has also been applied to the development of soybeans. BioBoost® Plus is the first PGPR based biological growth promoter for soybeans. The synergy of two superior bacteria working together results in higher net return potential.
